When I first became aware of ModRetro back in the summer and began shopping its site for Chromatic content, I saw the advertising for the M64 and wasn't initially drawn in. After I first got my Chromatic in the mail, however, and immediately saw the quality of the build, I became curious about other ModRetro products. Out of the four M64 launch titles, Xibalba 64 was the most interesting to me, and when I finally played it, it did not disappoint. If you are a fan of classic Wolfenstein 3D and Doom and Dark Forces and Duke Nukem, you will enjoy the gameplay of Xibalba 64. And the soundtrack is downright epic. I have not sampled the couch-coop or couch-competitive play modes, yet, so I can't comment on those, but I would say even just the single-player campaign was worth the price of admission.
