    Gift for my best friend

    I bought this for my best friend. He loves his GBC and never played a rayman game before. I love rayman so I figured he would and he sure does. The game works fantastic on his GBC and the enhancements of saving and new music was a nice addition. Overall a good product.

    Die Neuauflage von Rayman durch ModRetro feiert das 30-jährige Jubiläum des Originals mit Stil – und liefert dabei ein solides Stück Plattform-Gaming für Nostalgiker und Neulinge gleichermaßen.

    Was überzeugt:

    • Mit über 30 stimmungsvoll gestalteten Levels bringt die Edition die klassische Action auf modernen Handheld, inklusive bekannter Moves wie Springen, Schwingen und Prügeln. 

    • Der neue Soundtrack verpasst dem Altbewährten einen frischen Anstrich, ohne den Ursprung zu verfälschen. 

    • Das physische Paket – u. a. farbige Cartridge, Spieleanleitung und Charm – spricht Sammler genauso an wie Retro-Fans. 

    Was man wissen sollte:

    • Inhaltlich bleibt das Spiel weitgehend identisch zur ursprünglichen GBC-Version – neue Spielmodi oder größere Veränderungen fehlen. 

    • Das Speichern erfolgt über ein Passwort-System, was heute ungewohnt sein könnte. 

    Fazit:

    Wer sich nach unkompliziertem, charman­tem Retro-Plattformer sehnt und Wert auf liebevolle Aufmachung legt, wird hier bestens bedient. Rayman zeigt sich limblos, aber keineswegs kraftlos – und bleibt ein zeitloser Klassiker im modernen Gewand.
