    Holy grail of GBC type consoles.

    For game boy and game boy color games this is the best handheld I’ve used. (The only major one I have yet to try is the analogue pocket) build quality is great, love that you can use any cartridge, and the screen is very premium but still seems true to the game boy color style. Only thing missing is GBA games, but who knows maybe we’ll see a retro mod version of that console in the future!

    Perfection!

    Great value for money. When I turned it on I was instantly transported back to the 90s. Put in my old Pokemon Blue cartridge. Miraculously, my old save was still there! Very happy with my purchase.

    feels very solid, nice heft, and the D-pad is crisp, which is what I want for tetris

    screen is bright and sharp with clean motion, so falling pieces look buttery without blur
