A dead Power Core left inside a First Edition Chromatic for several weeks can be unrecoverable. We are releasing a Charging Station soon which will allow you to keep spare Power Cores charged and also revive dead Power Cores within a few minutes. Please be sure not to leave a dead Power Core in a First Edition Chromatic for several weeks to avoid putting it into an unrecoverable state.

    Almost Perfect

    There’s really not much to say about this. It works perfectly as a rechargeable battery and provides plenty of playtime when in use, and plenty of standby time when you aren’t. My only complaint is regarding the use of these batteries in First Edition Chromatics like I have. While I thankfully haven’t run into the dreaded “dead battery issue” and have already received my standalone charger, the interim period between being notified and receiving the solution was a little frustrating. Overall, a fantastic product.

    Wonderful Addition to my Chromatic

    The rechargeable battery pack works flawlessly and is a great addition to my beloved Chromatic. Being able to see the battery status in the OSD is very convenient, and I'm very impressed at how long the battery holds its charge even with extended periods between play sessions.
