A dead Power Core left inside a First Edition Chromatic for several weeks can be unrecoverable. We are releasing a Charging Station soon which will allow you to keep spare Power Cores charged and also revive dead Power Cores within a few minutes. Please be sure not to leave a dead Power Core in a First Edition Chromatic for several weeks to avoid putting it into an unrecoverable state.

    Amazing company and products

    First the battery. What’s not to love with an easy user replaceable rechargeable battery? After the company learned that the first gen units have issues with charging near dead batteries, they were quick to find a solution that’s great for their customers. Until they deliver their standalone charger solution, they give customers with first gen units options on a replacement battery. Awesome products with outstanding customer service support.

    Excellent addition to the Chromatic!

    While I love that the Chromatic uses AA batteries, the power core is an excellent addition. It slots in perfectly and is super convenient to use with a standard USB C interface. It holds a charge capable of lasting through several play sessions. Highly recommended.

    A must-have accessory - grab it while you can!

    I bought this battery only because in the EU you can only get it bundled with the Chromatic, and afterwards it's no longer available for separate purchase. I was skeptical, but I have to say it's a great addition. The battery lasts a very long time and you can charge the Chromatic just like a regular phone. Highly recommended!
