    A must-have for retro shooter collectors

    ZAS is a fantastic addition to any retro handheld collection. The game is an excellent shoot ’em up, and this physical edition is beautifully presented. The cartridge, packaging and overall quality make it feel like a proper collector’s release rather than just a modern reissue. Excellent work by ModRetro!

    Great Shooter, Excellent Collector’s Package

    Chikyu Kaihou Gun ZAS is a classic space shooter with really impressive graphics for the Game Boy, and it’s just a blast to play. ModRetro’s packaging is excellent as usual, with beautiful box art and a cool little keychain featuring an emblem from the game. The full-color, multi-page instruction manual is another lovely touch. You don’t really need a manual to jump in and enjoy a shooter, but having one makes the physical release feel complete. This is exactly the kind of care that makes ModRetro games such a pleasure to collect.

    Surprising re-release

    This a cool shmup for the Chromatic. It is a re-release of a game that has become very expensive. Interframe blending is a must for the impressive layering effects the game uses. Worth getting just to have the definitive version of one of the rarest GB games.
