When Buck, a die-hard retro gamer, buys a mysterious cartridge labeled “DEFINITELY NOT A CURSED CARTRIDGE” from his local GameStop, things go sideways fast. To escape, Buck must battle through pixelated worlds, outsmart glitchy bosses, and uncover who—or what—is pulling the strings. With help from a rogue hacker, hidden cheats, and his trusty blaster, Buck’s only way out is to beat the game itself.

Buck and the Cursed Cartridge is just pure fun. The whole cursed cartridge theme is a clever concept and it works really well. Controls feel tight and the levels keep you hooked. Definitely one of those games you pick up for a few minutes and end up playing for hours

Buck is a great game. Challenging enough to keep you playing. Not over complicated that you give up. It’s like a mashup of Zelda, Mario Bros, Bomberman, and Castlevania. The levels are like puzzles that you have to solve while stomping and shooting the enemies.
