    Couldn't ask for much more than this

    I've always been eyeing the mod community for a project that would finally combine the original gameboy and color gameboy with a backlit screen that was the proper sizing. The issue would be if someone was going to acknowledge that the original gameboy size would be more preferable for such a device for the advantage of more batteries than the two that the color sized gameboy would be able to hold if following those sizes. It's a real feat to behold that modretro came out of almost nowhere with that exactly, and on top of that their alloy metal shells completely removed the need to fill that wanting detail too. The FPGA nature allows far more than being locked to the original chips and the custom screen they invented for just this makes it the definitive option. If you love all that the gameboy had to enjoy up until before GBA came out and feel like a line needs to be drawn to respect the games as they were this is it. Get it! We are going to be getting more consoles in the same level of care to detail is gonna be wild!

    Gaming is alive for me again!

    Gaming has lost it charm for me years ago..

    But this, this reignited that spark.

    Now whenever i find time, i grab the chromatic and play a few minutes , maybe a hour or even more.

    The fact that there also so many new games to enjoy makes it even better.

    Maybe it is nostalgia talking..nah it is just a great device!

    The fit and feel of the chromatic is amazing! Such a high quality product that brings back my childhood memories. Having Tetris come with gives you the ultimate game on the goal. I also love the orange color. I love the fact that Modretro brings style and comfort to their devices and I will be a customer for every console they come out with. Thanks modretro!
