    You'll never go back

    Once you try it, you'll never want to go back to an emulator again. The MODRETRO Chromatic is a beast and is everything I wanted in my old Gameboy Color, but completely brought to the modern world. Does exactly the thing you need it to do and nothing more, play games. No $90 adapters for streamers to enjoy gaming and casting from the device. It's the perfect modern day Gameboy.

    Sturdy, beautiful, and bespoke. My daughter also uses it often and we have enjoyed a ton of analogue experiences together. Picked the cloud color and it looks gorgeous and clean in hand.

    Love this handheld.

    The chromatic feels sturdy in your hands, has the best display I've ever seen for GB/GBC compatible games, and the controls (d-pad, buttons) respond the way they should. This is the handheld gaming system I've wanted, but couldn't find elsewhere. Big fan

    The Best GBC Experience

    As an owner of both an Analogue Pocket and modded GBC, the Chromatic is my go to and by far favorite for a GBC experience. The build quality is extremely premium, the buttons/dpad feel are authentic, and the screen is bright, vivid, yet authentic to the original GBC look.

    My GB everdrive X7 works flawlessly, and the rechargeable battery pack has been an terrific addition as well (though I love that it can also take batteries). This is hands-down the best modern hardware for playing GB/GBC games.
