    This Thing is So Satisfying

    The Chromatic's build quality is top notch. It's fun to play with and satisfying to hold in the hand. As an engineer (who naturally took my Chromatic apart to look at the insides), the clear thought and intention in every last component speaks to me. Ok, now I'm probably the one person here who never played in the Nintendo ecosystem before I bought my Chromatic, but when I've handed mine to friends who knew Gameboys, their faces lit up with delight.

    The Chromatic

    The Chromatic itself is awesome. I like that it came with Tetris and compatible with other GB color games. The battery life is amazing too. Only had to charge it once so far.

    The Game Boy You’ve Been Looking For

    If you’re looking for the perfect game boy for regular DMG and GBC games, look no further. I have a modded GBC, modded Game Boy Pocket, modded SP, and an Analogue Pocket. The Modretro Chromatic is the best for non game boy advance games (for those I would use the AP). This thing feels great to the touch, is not heavy, is comfortable, and covers enough of the game to make you feel that it’s secure while still being able to see the cart. If you’ve played an AP and accidentally bumped your cartridge, you’ll know this is a nice point for the MC. The green color looks fantastic btw. The screen is fantastic. As a watch guy, I opted for the sapphire crystal, and I’m very happy with it.

    Finally got one!

    The difference between this and the old Gameboy are night and day.. Everything has been thought about and improved.The materials and 'feel' are just perfect.My old games have never looked better and I'm constantly surprised at how well they play all these years later! Fantastic value and quality.

    The best Gameboy ive owned.

    I've been playing the Chromatic a lot since i got it and i love it. This console is a 10/10 for me. It feels great to hold in the hands. The buttons and Dpad feels great and are perfect. The screen is super bright and clear. Its beautiful. The quality on the whole consoles feels very premium too. I highly recomend this to everyone that wants a new Game Boy. This device will hold for years.
