    Takes me back a few...

    Being a child of the 80s, owning a Gameboy was a foundational experience in my gaming story. While I still have my original Gameboy, the Chromatic is a fantastic upgrade to re-exeperience all of the games that made my childhood so special. The build quality is exceptional, especially the screen - it is awesome to play games using the original screen size but with a modern panel; beautiful.

    My expectations were not that high

    When I bought the Chromatic I didn't have my expectations too high but once I received it, it exceeded them. The material feels very sturdy, premium, it feels like it is going to last a loooot of years. With other handheld devices I'm used and disappointed of always seen my reflection on the screen of the device, this doesn't happen at all in the Chromatic and I love that, even when the brightness is at the lowest level, the colors produced by the screen are outstanding. Having an analog knob for the sound, instead of a digital one, allows you to listen to the Chromatic, specially with headphones, at the exact level that your ears need. I have tinnitus so I'm very careful always with controlling the volume in all the devices I use, I can perfectly control the volume to my needs with the analog knob. Overall it is a great device, the plus is that it is made in Mexico, where I'm from.
