Great game. It’s challenging but never unfair. A lot of attention has been put into the details of the graphics. It’s fun to play, though it doesn’t have any save points.

Cover art caught my attention so I had to check it out. This game is so fun to play! Definitely recommend this one! I also love that all the games come with a charm.

About: Hermano is a platformer. You use bombs and your head, literally, to destroy enemies. Enemies respawn. The bonus level portal and the key are used as checkpoints in the levels, if you happen to die.
Thoughts:
✔️Hermano reminds me much of Ghosts N Goblins to be honest. Hermano is more fair on enemy placement and has more grace on: the number of times you can get hit before death , spawning of lives, and spawning of hit refills than Ghosts N Goblins. It also has more levels. I don't feel like it was meant to be a clone of any game. This feels good, and stands on its own. The difficulty of the game feels good in my personal opinion, not too hard nor too easy.
✔️Mixes up the platforming with some gravity change.
✔️ Hermano has great music and graphics. Perfect game to cozy up to on a cool October day because of its atmosphere. I enjoy playing the game and have fun. I feel like the developer team put alot of love into it. It is a precious title to add to your collection.
✔️While this game has multiple levels ( I haven't beaten the game yet)...
❌ it does lack a save feature, which I guess could be seen to add to the difficulty of the game and some people may see that as a plus or a retro aesthetic -(like a call back to Super Mario Land on the Gameboy in 1989). I do hope that perhaps the developer will change their mind on this and patch something in later through Modretro's Cart Clinic feature. Maybe a manual password after each world so it is optional, not…

It fun challenge. It is simple with out being overly easy. It scratches the itch!

Reminds me of a mix of Megaman, and Ghosts and Goblins but with the head throwing mechanic of Dynamite Headdy. Fun for on the go
