From GameStop to game-trapped, Buck and the Cursed Cartridge is a fast-paced platformer where one bad cartridge leads to a wild, glitch-filled adventure.
When Buck, a die-hard retro gamer, buys a mysterious cartridge labeled “DEFINITELY NOT A CURSED CARTRIDGE” from his local GameStop, things go sideways fast. The moment he pops it into his Chromatic, he’s sucked through the screen and trapped inside the game! To escape, Buck must battle through pixelated worlds, outsmart glitchy bosses, and uncover who—or what—is pulling the strings. With help from a rogue hacker, hidden cheats, and his trusty blaster, Buck’s only way out is to beat the game itself.

Love playing this. Reminds me of a Zelda type gameplay.

The way this platformer is designed lends itself perfectly to players that may not have a lot of time to put into long play sessions. A few minutes here and there always results in some progress. The variety of mechanics always kept me interested and seldom frustrated (even the ice world). So much better than one would expect from a title with a corporate sponsor!

This game gives me a lot of nostalgia of the gameboy and even the snes. I have spent hours playing this game clearing levels and trying to find all the secrets. Highly recommend this to anyone with a Chromatic or even a gameboy.

If you are an old school Mario fan... Buck and the Cursed Cartridge is for sure up your alley.
It feels like true gamers were behind developing this game. Super fun and challenging enough!
The characters are cool and I really enjoy games that include a sense of humor and not take themselves too seriously. Buck the bunny should have a multigame development deal.
